Purpose: To evaluate the performance of an individual who is subject to its authority pursuant to Minnesota Stature 13D.05, Subd 3 for a scheduled annual performance review of County Administrator Kelsey Baker
Commissioner Rudningen moved and Commissioner E. Pederson seconded to go into closed Session. Motion carried unanimously.
Chairman Fox called the executive session to order at 10:00 AM with all members present as well as County Administrator Kelsey Baker. The Board discussed Kelsey’s performance review, goals, and what was completed in 2021.  The board took no actions at the meeting.

Commissioner E. Pederson moved and Commissioner Rudningen seconded to approve the agenda. Motion carried unanimously.
Consider approval of Minutes from December 8, 2021 Regular Meeting.
Consider approval of Day Care Grants.
Commissioner Hendrickx moved and Commissioner P. Peterson seconded to approve the Consent Agenda. Motion carried unanimously.
Commissioner Rudningen moved and Commissioner E. Pederson seconded to approve the Commissioner Warrants and review Auditor Warrants. Motion carried unanimously.

The Chippewa and Swift Counties, Minnesota, Joint Drainage Authority, drainage authority for Chippewa-Swift Joint Ditch 9 (JD 9), will hold a hearing on February 1, 2022 at 1:00 pm. at the Chippewa County Courthouse in the Assembly Room, 629 North 11th Street, Montevideo, MN. The drainage authority has received a petition to reconsider and modify the engineer’s estimate of cost of repair, adjust the cost estimate consistent with the increased construction cost and award the construction contract to the apparent low bidder. All parties interested in the proceedings are invited to attend and provide comment.
