NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS - Sealed proposals will be received until 10:00 AM on July 10th  2013, at the Swift County Highway Administration Building, 1635 Hoban Avenue, PO Box 241, Benson, MN 56215.  Sealed bids will then be opened and publicly read at 10:00 AM at the Swift County Highway Administration Building, 1635 Hoban Avenue, Benson, MN 56215 for the construction project listed below:

Location:  On Swift County Road 73 – From Swift CSAH 10 to Swift CSAH 14.
Type of work:  Grading and Aggregate Base

Major Items:
• Common Excavation – 43069 Cu Yds
• Common Borrow – 12200 Cu Yds
• Aggregate Base Class 5 – 4231 Ton
• Multiple Centerline and Approach Culverts
• Turf Establishment

Project Length:  10,581.48’ (2.004 Miles)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT:
There will be a meeting of the Swift County Planning Commission on Monday, July 1, 2013 at 8:00 a.m. in the Commissioner’s Room of the Swift County Courthouse, 301 14th St. No, Benson, MN to consider the following:

IN THE MATTER OF:  4 K Farms, LLP, Bruce Dokkebakken, 18038 203rd Ave., Big Lake, MN  55309 (Owner) and Central Specialties, Inc., 6325 CR 87 SW, Alexandria, MN  56308 (Operator)
REQUEST:  Conditional use permit application for gravel extraction and processing including crushing, screening, stockpiling, and temporary hot mix plant operation.
LOCATION: S ½ of the SW ¼ & W ½ of the SE ¼ in T-122. R-38, Section 4 (Camp Lake Township) of Swift County, MN.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
 
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the Benson City Council at City Hall, 1410 Kansas Ave., Benson, MN 56215 until 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 17, 2013 for the purpose of furnishing all necessary skills, tools, materials, forms, and labor to furnish and install the following approximate quantities:
 
▪ 2,000 ton paver laid bituminous, more or less
▪ 1,000 square yards bituminous milling, more or less
▪ 70 Yards concrete milling, more or less
 
A bid sheet can be obtained by calling City Hall at 320-843-4775.
Bids shall be honored during the 2013 construction season.
The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informalities contained therein.
