Benson/KMS girls tennis beats LqPV/DB in first round of playoffs

The Benson/KMS girls tennis team earned the fifth seed in the Section 3A team playoffs and were slated to play the fourth seed Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd Oct. 3. Since LqPV/DB was the lower seed, they should have been the home team. Since they have not had a home meet the entire season, the match was played in Benson. Benson/KMS took advantage of their home court advantage and secured a 5-2 win over LqPV/DB.
This was the second matchup of the season between these two teams. LqPV/DB took the first matchup 4-3 back on Sept. 3 and Benson/KMS was out for vengeance.
