Benson solid waste ordinance update brings changes

No more garbage pickup in alleys is one of the changes in a proposed comprehensive overhaul of the City of Benson’s solid waste ordinance.
In describing the amended ordinance, Benson Director of Finance Glen Pederson told the council at its Feb. 7 meeting that it was more of a “delete and replace” action than just a few changes.
