Full affiliation talks between CentraCare Health and Swift County-Benson Health Service (SCBHS) are moving forward with both parties continuing to express the desire for a closer relationship.
The last time the SCBHS governing board and CentraCare talked they agreed to pursue due diligence studies that would determine the benefits and potential liabilities of full affiliation
“We recognized that we had a strong interest from both the board and CentraCare to continue our path toward full affiliation,” Bryan Lydick, executive director, rural health, southwest region for CentraCare told the governing board at its Jan. 31 meeting. “CentraCare stated that it was committed to getting the decision and direction on full affiliation, or the agreement on the continuation of the management agreement, by July.”
