Thursday reserved for sounding tornado warning sirens twice.

Sirens are scheduled to blow at 1:45 p.m. to remind those in schools, other public buildings, and in businesses about thinking of how they would respond if a real tornado was approaching.
It also is a signal for everyone who is out and about in the community to think of what they would do if a tornado was approaching.

At 6:45 p.m., sirens will sound again for people in residential homes, in apartments, at outdoor events, those working evening shifts and those in area business to think of how they would seek a safe place in the event of a tornado.
