Saints drop defensive battle against SCC

The Saints were scheduled to host St. Cloud Cathedral in Murdock Sept. 18, but due to soggy field conditions, the game was moved to the artificial turf at New London-Spicer High School. Neither offense was able to get much going, but the Crusaders managed to pick up a 7-0 win over the Saints.
In the first half of action, defenses took center stage and kept zeros on the scoreboard through the first 24 minutes to keep it at 0-0 at the midpoint.
St. Cloud Cathedral managed to score what ended up being the only score of the game in the third quarter off a three-yard touchdown run to make the final score 7-0.
