Benson prepares to apply for grants

A new round of grants for communities through the Blandin Foundation may be opening soon and the City of Benson wants to be prepared to apply for one.
At the Benson Economic Development Authority meeting March 16, Maddi Calvin, a Community and Business Development Specialist and a Rural Capacity Program specialist for the City of Benson, told EDA members that Blandin may be conducting a new round of grants. Benson should be ready to apply for one if the grant application period opens in April, she said.
