Bill Harrison, 93, passed peacefully early on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026 at the home he shared with his wife, Kay. It was learned very recently that Bill's oldest daughter, Nancy, had passed earlier this month.

Bill's was a life well lived. He was born in downtown Chicago, played football at Barrington High School and was elected president of his class.

He served his country in the U.S. Army stationed in Versailles near Paris where he was an MP at SHAPE - Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe - that ran NATO's military operations.

He was owner/broker of The Harrison Company until he retired in 2019, at age 86. With retirement came winters in Florida where he had a hole in one days after his 90th birthday at Crane Lakes Golf and Country Club where they live in Port Orange.

A Celebration of Life on Friday, Aug. 28 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Benson Golf Club will include a short program at 5 p.m.
