City honors Torkelson, Marrs, firefighters

With their house on fire, and trapped inside, Beth Halvorson and Ryan Diederich may have faced certain death if it weren’t for the quick actions of nearby resident Megan Torkelson...As she waited for help to arrive, Torkelson pounded on the doors and windows attempting to get the attention of Diederich and Halvorson. First on the scene to help was Benson Police Officer Noah Marrs.
