Delmer R. Razink, October 8, 1940 • February 1, 2022

Delmer Richard Razink passed away February 1, 2022, at the St. Cloud Hospital at the age of 81. His wife of 60 years was by his side.
A Celebration of Life is planned for August 20, 2022 at the Ambush Park, Benson, Minnesota.
Born October 8, 1940 in Six Mile Grove Township, Swift County, Minnesota, he was the son of Paul John Peter Razink and Sarah (Halvorson) Razink.
Delmer was baptized November 10, 1940 at Emmanuel Luther Church and confirmed in 1956 at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church. He grew up on a farm in Swift County while attending Danvers school.
Delmer joined the Army National Guard in 1957 and was honorably discharge in 1966.
April 15, 1961, he was united in marriage with Joan (Jossart) by the Rev. Melvin R. Sucher at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church in Benson.
Delmer drove over the road semi-trailer truck for the majority of his life, including over 23 years with Cenex. Because of his many years of driving, he was lucky enough to see almost all of the the United States.
Delmer enjoyed many years camping, riding motorcycles and snowmobiles, playing penny poker with his family (and he didn’t let anyone win) and happy hour with the guys in his garage watching The Andy Griffith Show. He was meticulous with his lawn and gave his tomato plants and vines extra care.
Delmer is survived by his wife, Joan of Benson, his four daughters: Jodelle (Craig) Nygaard of Brooklyn Park, Jolissa (Brad) Buckner of Brooklyn Park, Jonna (Todd) Smith of Benson and Jenaye (Jeff) Brown of Plymouth; eight grandchildren: Thomas, Courtney, Kertina, Payton, Joshua, Jaydon, Trey and Morgan; and six great grandchildren: Aiden, Atticus, Adisyn, Oliver, Kennedy, Carolynn and another arriving in June.
Delmer is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Sarah, and his siblings, Evelyn Pyles, Margaret Ellingson, Donald Razink and Paul Razink.
