DuWayne ‘Butch’ Ahrndt, June 24, 1937 • March 2, 2022

DuWayne “Butch” Marvin Ahrndt, 84, of Wayzata, Minnesota, passed away March 2, 2022, peacefully at home surrounded by his wife and daughters.
Butch was born June 24, 1937 in Danvers.  
He is survived by wife, Donna; daughters: Janette and Brenda (Rick) Files; grandsons: Tyler (Mackenzie) Files and Christian (Mallory) Files; siblings: Barb Schluter, David (Barbara) Ahrndt, and JoAnn Tucholke; sisters in law: Linda Ahrndt, LaVonne Ahrndt, and Dianne (Merrill) Morlock; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Ernest and Edna Ahrndt; infant daughter, Sherry; brothers: Richard, Dennis, Orin, and Ervin (Swede).
He worked as a heavy equipment operator and mechanic throughout his career. He enjoyed working and fishing with family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held in June.
