Dwayne ‘Butch’ Strese

Dwayne Wilbert (Butch) Strese, 74, of Blaine, Minnesota (formerly of Benson) died peacefully from complications pertaining to liver and pancreas cancer August 20, 2021.

A Celebration of life will be held Sunday, Oct. 3, 2021 from  1-4 p.m. at the New Brighton Eagles Club, 563 Old Highway 8 NW, New Brighton, Minnesota.

Butch farmed with his father for many years in Benson.    He then moved to the city and was the owner/operator of Strese Trucking out of Blaine.

He is survived by his partner Connie Smith; sister Anna Mae (Bill) Waugh of Edinburg, Texas and children Tammy of Mound and Tristan of Faribault, with step-sons  Todd and Brent Smith of Blaine; six grandchildren, family and friends.

Butch was preceeded in death by his parents Ralph and Marion Strese.
