Joanne Audrey (Swingseth) Marose passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019.

A private family service will be held at a later date at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Joanne retired in 1996 after 39 years of teaching - 35 years in ISD #833 and her first three years in District #73 in Swift County.  She was so proud of her 100% Norwegian heritage she considered Nordfjord, Norway her heaven on earth. 

Joanne is survived by children: Mary (Kirk) DiLorenzo, Bob (Jill Magnuson) Marose, and Jeff Marose,  six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. 

Preceded by her beloved husband, Bud, her parents:  Oscar and Anna (Pederson) Swingseth, her siblings:  Peter, Clara, Palmer, Phyllis, Faith, and Kenneth and other loved ones.
