Kenneth Eugene Wall, 67, passed away July 18, 2026, at Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage, Alaska. Visitation and funeral service will be held at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church in Benson, Minnesota. Visitation will be held Friday, July 31, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 1. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 1.
Kenneth Eugene Wall was born May 7, 1959, in Benson, Minnesota, to DeWane and Jacquelyn (Meusburger) Wall. He was baptized October 9, 1960, at Six Mile Grove Lutheran Church by Thoralf Skeie and confirmed June 30, 1974, at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Benson by Rev. Bill Beckman and Glenn Taible. Kenny grew up on the family farm south of Benson, attended District 2185 Six Mile Grove Township School, and graduated from Benson High School with the Class of 1977.
July 12, 1980, Kenny was united in marriage to the love of his life, Linda Jean Reuss, at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Danvers, Minnesota. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, hard work, and community. They made their home in Danvers before returning to the family farm in 2010, where Kenny was happiest surrounded by the land he loved.
Kenny began working at Northrup King, later Syngenta Seeds, at the age of 18 and remained there until 2011. He later retired from Chippewa Valley Ethanol Company in 2021. Although he held many jobs throughout his life, farming was who he was. Whether tending his own fields, operating his rolling business for area farmers, or lending a hand during planting and harvest, Kenny was always willing to help wherever he was needed.
Kenny believed in giving back to his community. He proudly served as a volunteer firefighter and first responder with the Danvers Fire Department and Danvers First Responders. He also served on the Swift County Fair Board and the Our Redeemer's Cemetery Committee. His willingness to serve others reflected the kind of person he was - dependable, humble, and always ready to help.
Kenny found joy in hunting, fishing, bowling, and tackling remodeling projects. Perhaps his greatest labor of love was transforming the historic Lutheran church in Danvers into a beautiful family home filled with warmth, laughter, and countless family memories.
More than anything, Kenny loved his family. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who took great pride in supporting and encouraging those he loved. He had an easy smile, a generous heart, and a gift for making everyone feel welcome. Kenny never knew a stranger, and his kindness, sense of humor, and willingness to lend a helping hand earned him the respect and friendship of so many. His presence made people feel at ease, and his legacy will live on in the lives of those fortunate enough to know him.
Kenny is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda Wall; his children: Heather (Nathan) Giese of Danvers, Heidi Wall of Morris, and Caleb (Anna) Wall of Danvers; his grandchildren: Ella Ridler, Kennedy Giese-Kohler, Charlee Giese, Emerson Giese, Paislee Wall, and Colton Wall; his siblings: George (Linda) Wall of Glenwood, Deb (Ed) Lagred of Benson, Ed (Sherri) Wall of Loveland, Colorado, Doug (Bonnie) Wall of New London, Lori (Scott) Lindenfelser of Princeton, and Kevin (Kim) Wall of Niwot, Colorado; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, DeWane and Jacquelyn Wall, parents-in-law, Lester and Lucille Reuss, and many other family members who will have a happy reunion in heaven.
