Benson Alum kicks off first season as Braves head coach
The Benson baseball team is under new leadership this season as Brennan Kent takes over in his first season as the head baseball coach for the Braves varsity squad.
“I have always loved the game of baseball and everything that comes with it. There’s so much the game teaches, things like discipline, resilience, teamwork and handling both success and failure, and those lessons stick with you well beyond the field,” Kent said.
Kent will help usher in a new era in Benson baseball as he will be the head coach for the team’s first season in the Prairie Conference.
