Laura J. Reinke, September 1, 1945 • March 17, 2022

Laura J. Reinke, 76, died Thursday, March 17, 2022, at the Clara City Nursing Home. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 24, 2022, at the Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and will continue Friday, March 25, 2022, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Benson from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
Laura J. Reinke was born September 1, 1945, in Comfrey, Minnesota the daughter of Elton and Mildred Johnson Wolf. She was baptized in 1946 in Jeffers, Minnesota. She attended grade school in Butterfield, and graduated from Butterfield High School. In 1964, Laura was united in marriage to Darrol D. Reinke. This union was blessed with over 64 years of marriage and five children. She worked in Clontarf at the Café, grocery store, and the liquor store, and she worked in Benson at Sandy’s Café, Super Valu, and Prairie Five.
She enjoyed playing cards and BINGO. She was called from this life Thursday morning, March 17, 2022, at the Clara City Nursing Home. She attained the age of 76 years, six months, and 16 days.
Laura is survived by her mother, Mildred Wolf; her children: Doug (Kristy) Reinke of Becker, David (Sue) Reinke of Fargo, North Dakota, Dennis (Steph) Reinke of DeGraff, Kyle (Sheila) Reinke of Elbow Lake, and Pam Payne and special friend Ryan Feuchtenberger of Benson; 12 grandchildren: Shauntae, Damien, Brady, Austin, Cooper, Katlyn, Kamri, Alex, Kyle Jr., Dana, Levi, Noah, and Jesse; eight great grandchildren: McKenna, Brennan, Warren, Edward, Emma, Gracilynn, Maddilynn, and Talli; her siblings: Vicki Olson of Grand Rapids, Jurene (John) Lammel of Parkers Prairie, and Brian (Deb) Wolf of the Twin Cities; and several other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Darrol, July 26, 2010; her father Elton Wolf; her mother and father in-law Arnold and Nina Schmidt Reinke; brothers-in-law Mikel Reinke, Sonny Reinke, and Leon Olson.
