Lillian Barbara Hvezda, 86, of Horseshoe Bend, Idaho, passed away January 23, 2025.

An Inurnment Ceremony will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at Lake Mary Cemetery, (#82659), County Road 28, Lake Mary Township, Alexandria, Minnesota 56308. The family would be honored to have your presence as they dedicate Lillian B. (Lundebrek) Hvezda into the hands of our Loving God and Jesus our Savior. We look forward to a time of gathering, great food and stories of remembrance at the home of Dave and Colleen Johnsrud following the service. All family and friends are welcome. 

The reception following the Inurnment Ceremony Saturday, June 28, will be hosted by Dave and Colleen Johnsrud 17263 300th Ave., Starbuck, Minnesota. (NOTE: Hwy. 114 from Lowry to Alexandria is closed due to construction).

Born September 13, 1938 to Adolph and Clara (Gulbrandson) Lundebrek on the family farm in Langhei Township, Pope County, Minnesota, Lillian had 16 siblings of which she was the middle child.  

She is survived by her husband of over 64 years, M. Jon Hvezda.  They were married May 7, 1960, in Lake Hazel Lutheran Church of Pope County, Minnesota.  

Lillian went to Benson High School in Benson, Minnesota.  After high school, she attended nursing school and graduated with an LPN degree. Lillian worked for 40 years as an LPN in Minnesota, Montana and Idaho.  

 Jon and Lillian had four children: Naomi (Darin) of Star, Idaho; Greg of Meridian, Idaho; Wanda (Jim) of Pullman, Washington; and Linda (Jeff) of Eugene, Oregon. 

She is also survived by five brothers, three sisters, five sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

 Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, one child lost as a still birth, two brothers, six sisters, six sisters-in-law, nine brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
