   Robert John Matthies, 69, of Papillion, Nebraska, formerly of Holloway, Minnesota, died Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at the Hillcrest Assisted Living Center in Papillion, Nebraska. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Appleton, Wednesday, April 8, 2026, followed by the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in the St. John's Lutheran Church near Holloway, Minnesota. 

   Zniewski Funeral Home-Vaala Chapel of Appleton is assisting the family with the arrangements.
