VFW Auxiliary donates Patriotic Books to library

The VFW Auxiliary to Benson Post 1403 recently donated seven patriotic-themed books to the Benson Public Library for both children and adults to enjoy.
The donation was made in memory of Ruby Higdon, a past member of the VFW Auxiliary, by her daughter. The books honor Higdon’s dedication to patriotism and community service.
Juanita Jerve made the presentation on behalf of the VFW Auxiliary to Librarian Chris Yard. The books will be added to the library’s collection and made available to the public.
