Braves earn split with Minnewaska Area

The Benson softball team scored 27 runs in five games last week, but still managed just one victory, an 8-7 home win over Minnewaska Area to open up last week’s action.  The Lakers came back to win the second game, 13-6, and later in the week, Benson was swept in a doubleheader by West Central Area, 9-3 and 5-4, before the Braves lost a home game with Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley, Friday, 13-6.
