MBA girls hockey drops home opener to Prairie Center

The MBA girls hockey team started their season off last Thursday against Prairie Center. The girls Strom team was the first varsity hockey team to hit the ice and get some real playing time as their season is just beginning.
In period one, the Storm’s starting line came out strong, keeping Prairie Center in their own zone, but the Storm could not come up with a goal. The Storm looked to play a three on five offense, keeping two defensive players near the blue line to hold the puck in Prairie Center’s territory.
